Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)      Obtains and enters invoices timely and accurately into accounts payable system.

2)      Generates payments for invoices.

3)      Obtains approval for payment from Administrator.

4)      Sends payments.

5)      Updates and maintains accounts payable information within computer system.

6)      Corresponds with vendors regarding outstanding invoices.

7)      Prepares and submits reports,  as directed by Administrator.

8)      Able to be on call for emergencies.

9)      Able to attend department head meetings,  workshops and institutes.

10)  Be able to keep adequate records.

11)  Follow established safety and infection control procedures.

12)  Participates in all required inservice training.

13)  Maintains safe working conditions and follows dress code.

14)  Reports to supervisor all complaints and grievances made by residents,  families and visiting individuals.

15)  Adheres to and promotes Code of Conduct.

16)  All other duties as assigned.

 

Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)      Manages and continually develops formal Employee Selection and Orientation process.

2)      Updates and maintains Employee records in accordance with federal,  state and local regulations.

3)      Effectively and accurately processes facility payroll.

4)      Manages and maintains facility Safety program;  including but not limited to Safety Committee,  worker’s compensation claims,  OSHA

5)      Works to establish and maintain a positive work environment throughout the facility by using various Employee relations programs and methods.

6)      Provides information and assistance with Employee benefits program

7)      Administers facility-specific benefit program

8)      Communicates with all levels of management using formal reporting procedures.

9)      Performs other miscellaneous HR functions.

10)  Prepares and submits reports,  as directed by Administrator.

11)  Able to be on call for emergencies.

12)  Able to attend department head meetings,  workshops and institutes.

Qualifications / Career Path
