Inputs and processes data.   Creates permanent records and properly sorts documents.   Completes other clerical duties as assigned. 


Demonstrates accuracy and timeliness when inputting data on computer terminal.

Demonstrates ability to accurately prepare a variety of debit and credit tickets to accomplish necessary corrections or adjustments.  Prepares and inputs approved changes to files.

Demonstrates knowledge and ability to utilize Director Retrieval System to scan daily documents for permanent records.

Assures that scanned documents are accurately indexed to assure that items can be retrieved easily and completely.

Actively assists with other operational procedures as time and circumstances permit.

Uses proper procedures when answering telephone and connecting customers with appropriate parties.

Projects a positive image of Peoples Bank when assisting customers with inquiries and problems encountered.

Efficiently processes incoming and outgoing mail.

Efficiently processes non-post items as directed.

Performs thorough and accurate research on any items in question.

Ensures addresses are updated by obtaining correct address and by removing inappropriate or outdated information.

Ensures the timely generation of reports and data including the delivery of the finished product according to established or judiciously adjusted priorities.

Consistently ensures confidential treatment of Peoples Bank and customer service data as it is developed.

Ensures the maintenance of good customer relationships as they may be affected by the operations of the department.

Ensures the safekeeping of Peoples Bank’s records including back-up procedures.   Consistently follows security procedures.

Consistently ensures accurate and timely processing of work received from customers and other departments within Peoples Bank.

Accurately balances Peoples Bank checks including money orders,  expense checks,  interest checks,  and Christmas Club checks.

 Adequately processes new account information and provides maintenance to assure completion and accuracy.

Objectives for continuous improvement are evaluated by self and supervisor to indicate effort toward self improvement.

Demonstrates skills in decision making.
